It's windy as hell out right now - gusts up to 50 mph. It's freaking me the hell out. So I'm gonna put Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang on and try to pretend I don't hear the howling and creaking.

The bestest, most cracktastic vid I've seen yet. Dean discovers Cas is a virgin...and that Cas wants him really, really bad. The editing on this is inspired. The "Dean, give it to me" is just perfect.

Alright, my fangirly, impatient ass can wait no longer to change my header/layout. It's not my fault! Dean/Cas pretty much own me at the moment. And new episode this week!!

After finishing my rewatch of S4 of Supernatural I've gone back into Dean/Cas fangirling overload. That, combined with the need to keep myself busy until the season premiere so I won't lose willpower and stumble onto spoilers, has led me to make an epic Dean/Cas pic!spam featuring my favorite moments of them. Making and sifting through caps of these pretty, pretty boys was well worth the effort, lol.

Also, yay for the S4 Gag Reel getting leaked! Although too much New!Ruby and a severe lack of Cas for my tastes. Also, Jared you can stop with the Blue Steel stuff nao, embrace a new blooper standard plz.

- I hate August. It's the worst month of the year. It's so freaking humid every day that you just sweat and sweat. It's disgusting.

- I do believe that I'm finally over whatever bug it was that I caught early last week. The worst part of it was how wiped out it made me feel all of the time. No, I take that back - the second day when I was massively congested was the worst.

- I'm still fangirling over Ginger!Spice's win yesterday. I'm just so happy for him. Now it's going to be nervewracking watching him try to get into The Chase in the next few races. Also it will be insane if some team doesn't step up and give Kez a fulltime ride for next season. With the situation being what it is at HMS, I don't advise him to sit around and wait for a ride to come from them.

- The rewatch of Supernatural continues. I had forgotten just how fabulous "Nightshifter" was. It's such a great mix of all of the elements that make this show great. Lots of humor, tension, and action. The only thing is the lightness of angst. But you can't have angst all of the time. I have so much love for that episode. S1 & S2 are just soooo good. Maybe that is why S3 was a step down for me. And omg, "Tall Tales" will never fail to have me gasping for breath from the giggle fits. That episode is a thing of beauty.

Also, I've watched this Jensen vid about 20 times in the past week. I CAN'T STOP. There is just too much adorableness.

I'm so effing excited about the Project Runway All Star Challange. Danny V and Santino? Yes plz. A full reunion with Uncle Nick and ANDRAE would be too much to ask for, I guess. Still YAYZ. Especially since the last few seasons have been lackluster at best and I wasn't planning on even watching the new season. At least I have this special to look forward to. And my S2 DVDs to relive the awesomeness that was.

This race post is almost a day late, but I was too tired to do it last night. And I didn't have a whole lot to say. Anyway...

Thoughts/Highlights:

- RaceDay/Fox replaying Talladega 1,000 times and dredging up Kyle/Jr. was beyond annoying. When Kyle said "Why?" when Hermie brought it up I was like exactly. Oh and I still hate Spencer.

- Bootie's "Ward, you never throw your booties" segment had me on the floor. Much love to Bootie.

- RAOUL! He made a lovely appearance looking as nasty as ever.

- The RPM cars struggled again and it's getting old. They need to get their butts in gear over there and give these guys the new engine.

- Watching Jimmie struggle all night, I couldn't help but MUAHAHAHA. And debate on just where Chad was gonna to make him sleep that night. By the end of the race I think he was going to have to sleep a full county over.

- McEdwards wreck was like "damn it! but wait JMac's car was like a love magnet to Carl's car" and then I went into daydreamy land.

- Speaking of which, I can't help but be disappointed with Carl's performance so far. I think he has the 2nd place finisher curse.

- Jeff dropping a mouthful of f-bombs about the car and Stevie replying "10-4. Stay out." I was LOLing.

- Shrubby wins on his b-day!

- I whooped butt in my fantasy league again!!

I love Kyle but I dothink that they make too big of a deal about his Nationwide and Truck wins. Fisrtly, it's different series and shouldn't really be brought up and talked about at length during Cup races. And also they are both supposed to supporting lower development series. No surprise that the Cup guys are the ones winning. 

 

This tibit has my inner shipper into overdrive:

NASCAR's Jeff Gordon, covering a lot of ground Sunday night after the race. Gordon checked out XS nightclub (Encore) with fellow drivers Brian Vickers and Stanton Barrett. He also was at The Bank (Bellagio) with Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Elliot Sadler and had dinner with Vickers at Lavo (Palazzo).

The whole time during the Shootout Selection show last night all that was going through my head was - why you gotta be such a cockblock Biff? Switch Jamie spots so he can sit by Carl.

I was reading an article about Brian's new place in NYC today that was in The New York Times. Here's a snippet:

Mr. Vickers’s migration to New York was jump-started by Mr. Gordon, the four-time series champion and a former teammate at Hendrick Motorsports. “Jeff has become like a close friend, slash, mentor, slash, older brother to me,” Mr. Vickers said of Mr. Gordon, who is 12 years older.

Seeing them referred to as Mr. that many times made me lol, especially Brian. And the "slash"es brought me to my dirty "boys in love" place. What? Oh shut up, yes I need to get my mind out of the gutter.

 A metal sculpture of what appears to be a stylized eagle is perched near the fireplace. The statue is made from parts of the stock car in which Mr. Vickers led 61 laps early in a race last Memorial Day weekend at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. But his left rear tire came off, and he wrecked. A friend made the statue for him.

And this sounds awesome.
