Squee! This is my first batch of Popular icons. I felt the urge to pull put my DVDs the other day and start making icons. I know there are some fellow Popular fans on my flist, but those of you not familiar with it or that haven't seen it - I highly recommend it. It's hilarious and brilliant and fun - a total satire of your typical teen shows.

I'm not sure why I started with S2, it was the first set I grabbed. Anyway icons ahoy - I must warn you - there is a plethora of Mary Cherry, but how could there not be? :D

Popular S1  
I've been rewatching my S1 Popular DVDs. I forgot what a rough start this show got off to. The real fun and satire doesn't come until later on. Brooke pretty much always annoys me, but I forgot how pathetic Carmen was. Sometimes I just want to smack her. Sam has really great hair in early season one before they give her all the crazy hairstyles.  Mary Cherry cracks me up and soon there will be more Claw, Emory Dick, and the Tuna Sisters.
